From June 28 to July 4, 1970, Joplin and Full Tilt joined the all-star Festival Express tour through Canada, performing alongside the Grateful Dead, Delaney and Bonnie, Rick Danko and The Band, Eric Andersen, and Ian & Sylvia. They played concerts in Toronto, Winnipeg, and Calgary.
Janis had released 3 albums at the time of this concert, and this was her third band. They performed songs from each of her albums in this set.
This would turn out to be one of her last performances, as she died approximately 2 months later.
